Well, this is the place where you can find out about RACECAR shows; past and present. We have also now added way past gigs for your viewing pleasure. We will try to update this area within a week after every show. You will also notice that we will post upcoming shows as soon as we know of them. Because we provide you with video and audio from these shows, you will need to get the RealPlayer (Video & Audio) and for older video clips, get Quicktime Player. Apologies are in order for modem users who transfer at 14.4. The sound quality of 14.4 recorded RealAudio doesn't do RACECAR justice. If you are interested in having RACECAR play in your town, please e-mail Brian McLaughlin and he will be happy to work something out. Enjoy!
9:30 Club:April 26 Looks like RACECAR and Poole were at it again. This time at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. (ed. Heard a rumor there, that there might be another Carpool Christmas single. Can't wait!) Those who were there got a special treat. RACECAR debut a new song. 'Could've Been You' was received well with the fans, and now it is FINALLY on-line. Check out the RealVideo and RealAudio clips. (Incidentally, this is the first show that we are abusing out new RealVideo server. Make sure you get the new player!! Poole was awesome once again (Is Harv Evans a great guitarist or what?) and RACECAR would like to congratulate them on playing the WHFeStival. BTW... Who's Dan Magrath? |

The
Fez:January 11 This was the second night of the East Coast Popfest 97. The line-up was Gumption, Shoestrings, Silly Pillows, RACECAR, Push Kings, and Holiday. Everyone was in a really good mood and all the bands were great. Racecar played the best show they ever had in New York. The show was sold out and the Fez was really packed. On the down side, it was also Holiday's last show ever so it got a bit weepy towards the end as everyone said their goodbyes. We have some really great footage from this show. The best we've actually recorded. So, check back in a few days and we should have it up. |
